KITESURFING

LOCATION

Kigamboni beach is an uncrowded spot, perfect for learning and practicing.

Large beach and sandy bottom are perfect for preparing and launching the kite.

The water is choppy; close to the kite base there are some amazing flat water areas.

Air temperature: from 25 to 30°C

Water temperature: from 20 to 25° C

WIND

Side-on shore wind is the most common situation; if the wind is on-shore we can organiza beautiful down-wind trips from the islans to the kite base.

Wind is usually from 10/12 knots up to 18/22

Recommended periods are from mid-December to March and from June to October.

The rainy season is from April to May and from November to mid December.

FACILITIES

The kite school can provide rigging service, launching and landing assistance, water to clean the equipment, storage.
